You will be part of a small team supporting our natural resource permitting and construction compliance projects.
As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including wetland delineation, construction site inspections, project reporting, permitting assistance, and Conservation Commission meeting attendance.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, we'd prefer you have:
- 2 + years' experience in the environmental industry, specifically wetlands
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline, with plans to continue your education with additional schooling or certifications
- Have proven technical writing skills
- 2+ years' experience with soils and plants of New England
- Experience reading and interpreting site plans.
- Experience and knowledge of state and local wetland regulations.
- Experience working with contractors.
- GIS experience.
Specific Experience Requirements
As an Environmental Scientist, you'll need a background in this kind of work. While we can teach some of the finer details, you'll need to:
- Perform wetland delineations and wetland permitting (NOI, 401/404).
- Perform construction inspection and reporting.
- Represent projects and clients at Conservation Commission hearings.
- Interact with clients and contractors as directed by the Project Manager.
- Be able to work in a variety of field conditions that involve working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain, at times for several consecutive hours.
